our beginnings were humble
The Moscow Alehouse is so much more than a restaurant. It’s a community. No, it’s a home and it’s all thanks to Wendy Smiley-Johnson. She’s owned the business since 2013 and is the heart of the entire operation. Wendy has turned the Alehouse into a place you feel at home in a community you’ll do anything to see thrive. And the Alehouse has not only thrived, it’s ensured that it’s local community does. From using University of Idaho Vandal meats in each of its burgers and brats to donating a portion of all sales of the ‘Vandal Burger’ back to local charities to hosting several fundraisers for local groups throughout the year, Wendy and the entire Moscow Alehouse have cemented their status as a community staple. And Wendy’s hugs? Better even than our fries! And the fries are GOOD!
